- Connect your Zoom account, automate meetings, webinars, recordings, and chat, or disconnect Zoom from Glow
- Find it
- Left sidebar → Connections → Zoom, and canvas App drawer → Apps → Zoom
- Cost
- 1 Step credit per Zoom action run
- Limits
- Actions require matching Zoom account features (such as Webinars, Cloud Recording, or Zoom Phone)
Before You Start
- Open the target workspace: Connections belong to one Glow workspace.
- Check Zoom features: Steps run with the connected user’s permissions and active Zoom features (Webinars, Cloud Recording, Summaries, or Zoom Phone).
- Check Marketplace policy: If your Zoom organization restricts apps, ask your Zoom admin to pre-approve Glow.
Adding the Zoom App
Find Zoom in Glow
Open Connections in the left sidebar, search for Zoom, and click Connect on the Zoom card under Browse apps (or click Connect an app).
Choose Sign in
Select Sign in to open Zoom’s authorization window. If blocked, allow popups for Glow and click Open the window again.
Approve access in Zoom
Sign in with the intended Zoom account, review the requested permissions, and click Allow.
Confirm the connection
Confirm the new tile appears under Your connections (named after the Zoom email) and verify Connected as and Owner.
You own the connection you create. Workspace members with content access can select it in their automations (Connection Ownership & Lifecycle).
Using the Zoom App
Add a Zoom Step
On the canvas, open Apps in the dock, search for Zoom, and choose an action such as Create Meeting.
Select your Zoom connection
In the App drawer, confirm your account in the Connection dropdown (auto-selected when only one Zoom connection exists).
Fill in the action’s fields
Enter fixed values or map outputs from earlier Steps.
Test with a real run
Test a read-only action first (Get Current User or List Meetings). Follow Testing a Connection and inspect Executions.
Zoom actions perform live changes even in Draft. Updating, ending, or deleting a meeting affects all invitees. Test write actions only on a test meeting.
Meetings & Webinars
| Area | Actions |
|---|---|
| Meetings | Create Meeting, Update Meeting, End Meeting, Delete Meeting, Get Meeting, Get Meeting Details, List Meetings |
| Meeting registrants | Add Meeting Registrant, List Meeting Registrants |
| Webinars | Create Webinar, Update Webinar, Delete Webinar, Get Webinar, Get Webinar Details, List Webinars |
| Webinar registrants/panelists | Add Webinar Registrant, List Webinar Registrants, Update Webinar Registrant Status, Add Webinar Panelist, Delete Webinar Panelist |
| Past participants & Q&A | List Past Meeting Participants, List Webinar Participants, List Webinar Participants Report, List Past Webinar Q&A |
Removing the Zoom App
You can remove Zoom in Glow, in the Zoom Marketplace, or both.
Check dependents first. Removing a connection breaks every Zoom Step bound to it, including active runs. Other Zoom connections do not auto-replace it.
Disconnect in Glow
- Open Connections, click the Zoom tile under Your connections, and check Automations using it.
- Click Disconnect, confirm any active automations in the prompt, and click Disconnect (use Undo in the toast immediately if needed).
Disconnecting revokes Glow’s access at Zoom and deletes stored tokens (Disconnecting a Connection).
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Resolution |
|---|---|
| Sign-in window does not open | Allow popups for Glow and click Open the window again, or use another browser. Confirm the tile under Your connections. |
| Wrong Zoom account connected | Sign out of Zoom (or use a private window), connect the right account, and disconnect the wrong tile once unused. |
| Step shows Needs reconnecting | Ask the owner to follow Reconnecting and run a read check. |
| Zoom action returns an API error | Confirm the Zoom user can perform that action and has required add-ons (Webinars, Cloud Recording, Summaries, or Zoom Phone). |
